Operation Guide
- Increase feed pressure gradually over 30-60 seconds at start-up.
- Achieve the desired cross-flow velocity within 15-20 seconds.
- Avoid sudden changes in pressure or flow to prevent membrane damage.
- Ensure that the membrane remains moist after the first wetting process.
- Discard the permeate during the first hour of operation.
Important Information
- Avoid static permeate-side backpressure at all times.
- For long-term shutdowns, keep elements in a suitable solution to prevent biological growth.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring the chemical compatibility of feed water and system lubricants.
